Beat them with noodles
I found a great website for potential therapy ideas. Summer is a great time to do a variety of activities with pediatric patients and pool noodles are a cheap way to add some versatility to your therapy tool boxes. This website is a great resource for pool noodle ideas. Go forth and create treatments of fun!!!

The Positive Eating
Program is for children who are "resistive eaters." Most of
these children have a diet limited to 10-12 foods. Gardening is a fine motor
activity but also a sensory experience. Who can resist playing in the dirt?! One of the goals of the Positive
Eating Program is to give children time to play with and explore healthy food
options. We know that children who plant their own food and
play/manipulate their food will be more likely to try those foods. This
helps to expand the repertoire of foods in their diet. Children at the Nave Center were assisted with gardening activities by students in the OT program at Milligan College. This program was developed by Dr. Christy Isbell, pediatric OT!!!
